Govt. should play active role for Afia's release: Dr. Fauzia

KARACHI: Dr. Fauzia Siddiqui, sister of Pakistani scientist, Dr. Afia Siddiqui, who is detained in the United States, has asked the government of Pakistan, all religious, political parties and human rights organizations to play their active role in bringing her sister back home. Taking to Geo News, Dr. Fauzia termed allegations leveled against Dr. Afia baseless and demanded that the government of Pakistan should take measures to protect the life of her sister, who has been held in the US custody since 2003.
