I will not quit PPP: Fahim

The Vice Chairman of Pakistan People Party, Makhdoom Amin Fahim hs said on Sunday that he will respond to the people party in similar manner he was treated by the party. About resignation of Makhdoom Jamil, he said that Makhdoon Jamil-ul-Zaman was independent in his decisions and he had no connection in this regard. Talking to media at his residence after meeting with Federal Minister Khurshid Shah, Amin Fahim said country's overall situation was alarming and added that two provinces were burning. The country should be saved first, he added. He further said that survival of the country was more important then president’s impeachment “I stand by the commitment and my loyalties will remain with the people party, he said, adding he would never quit the party. Speaking on the occasion, Federal Minister Khurshid Shah said Makhdoom Amin Fahim was still with the party and would not support the dictatorship. The federal minister further told that Tehrik-e-Insaf, Jamaat-e-Islami, PMAP, MAP would support the ruling coalition on president’s impeachment while contacts were being established with the Muttahida Qaumi Movement for their support in restoring the democracy. Source said the federal minister had arrived to take Makhdoom Amin Fahim in confidence regarding impeachment of the president.
