President’s resignation to avert impeachment: FM Qureshi
MULTAN: Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that the President should tender his resignation without any further delay. Talking to journalists at the Multan Airport, Qureshi said Musharraf had better step down within two days to avoid impeachment. Responding to a question, he said that the army and US respect the constitution of Pakistan. He further said that if PML-N Chief, Nawaz Sharif would like to become the President of Pakistan, then the coalition government could consider it. Qureshi said that the PPP led government is strengthening the national institutions.
