‘Amnesty will be considered if president resigns’
ISLAMABAD: The coalition government will look into a possible amnesty for President Pervez Musharraf if he resigns, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader Ishaq Dar told AFP on Saturday. Dar, who is a member of the committee which drafted the impeachment charges, said the issue was still up in the air. “If the president resigns, the coalition government will look into the (amnesty) subject,” he said. afp
