Asfandyar, Fazal for joint strategy on vital issues
ISLAMABAD: The heads of Awami National Party (ANP) and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) said Wednesday that joint strategy would be devised on key issues. After holding joint meeting of ANP, JUI-F and FATA members, Asfandyar Wali Khan and Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman said preliminary meeting was held today to discuss the issues. Both leaders said, “Separate meetings will be held with PPP Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari and PML-N’s Ch. Nisar Ali Khan and Ishaq Dar to resolve all important issues unanimously.” Two leaders said that they also supported the movement for the independence of judiciary.” About new president, they said nominations of country’s next president and governors were not discussed so far.
