Musharraf’s resign will not affect Pakistan’s Kashmir policy: Atiq
MUZZAFARGARH: Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir, Sardar Atiq Ahmed Khan said former president Pervez Musharraf’s resignation would not affect Pakistan’s policy on Kashmir issue. He was addressing at a national security workshop organized y National Defence University here in Muzaffarabad on Tuesday. The prime minister said Musharraf’s four-point formula was never a final solution of Kashmir issue but it was one step forward towards the issue. Pakistan and India agreed on ceasefire due to this four-point formula, he said, adding Kashmiri people of both sides got the opportunity to meet each other after half century. On this occasion, Atiq Ahmed appealed to Pakistani government to continue the Kashmir policy given by former president. Speaking on the occasion, Chairman of NDU, Maj. General Tariq Masood said workshop was aimed at devising a comprehensive strategy on the issues of national security.
