Musharraf says he will not leave country
LAHORE: My resignation as president does not reflect my defeat as I resigned in the interest of Pakistan and its people, Geo News quoted Gen (r) Pervez Musharraf as saying on Tuesday. According to the channel, Musharraf met with various delegations on Tuesday and said that he did not intend to leave the country, as it was his first love. According to the channel, Musharraf said that he would soon issue a white paper on economy as he had promised in his last address to the nation. The channel reported that he would meet some politicians on Wednesday (today). General (r) Pervez Musharraf announced his resignation on Monday. daily times monitor
