Decision to quit against country’s interest

PESHAWAR: The PML-N’s decision to quit the coalition is not in the country’s interest, Awami National Party (ANP) Information Secretary Zahid Khan. “It would hurt democracy and parliament,” he said. “The NWFP faces an insurgency. The Taliban are killing innocent people and the situation is akin to a civil war,” he said. Khan said his party would support the coalition government. staff report
