6 federal secretaries transferred, 21 promoted to Grade-22

ISLAMABAD: The federal government has transferred 6 secretaries in the ministries, while 21 officers of Grade-21 have been promoted to Grade-22. The transferred secretaries of the ministries included finance, local bodies and rural development, ports and shipping, petroleum and natural resources, textile management division, housing and works and population. Federal secretary for population, Muhammad Sharif has been transferred and posted to states and frontier affairs, secretary local bodies and rural development, Muhammad Saleem Khan to ports and shipping, secretary housing and constructions, Abdul Rauf to textile management division, secretary finance, Dr. Waqar Masood to economic affairs division, secretary petroleum and natural resources, Farrukh Qayyum to finance and secretary textile management division, Zafar Mahmood to petroleum and natural resources. The federal government has promoted 21 officers from Grade-21 to Grade-22, which also included NWFP IG Police, Malik Naveed Khan, Punjab IG, Shaukat Javed and Balochistan IG, Saud Gohar.
