Judges Issue: PML-N refuses middle-path solution
ISLAMABAD: Two sessions of the committee tasked to prepare a framework for the reinstatement of deposed judges will hold two meetings today to discuss the issue. The constitutional experts would not attend the first session of the committee. Meanwhile, Muslim League-N has refused to accept a middle path solution in judges’ restoration issue and will consider to quit the coalition in case of the talks failure, sources said. The Law Minister Farooq H. Naek told newsmen that he is optimistic that Fakhruddin G. Ebrahim would re-join the committee, however, no decision has yet been made about his replacement. He was hopeful of a positive outcome of the meeting.
