Deadlock persists between PPP and PML-N
LONDON: Deadlock still persists between Pakistan Peoples Party and Pakistan Muslim League-N over the issue of restoration of deposed judges. Shahbaz Sharif said the ball was in PPP’s court while PPP was of the opinion that issue of judges’ restoration could not be resolved by ignoring constitutional matters. The deadlock came after London talks in which Rehman Malik, Hussain Haqqani and Khawaja Asif participated. According to sources, PML-N Head Nawaz Sharif has extended his stay in London and chances are that there could be another round of talks between Nawaz Sharif and Asif Ali Zardari.
