Mehmood Achakzai announces black day on May 12

QUETTA: All Parties Democratic Movement (APDM) Saturday announced that the alliance will commemorate May 12, 2007 as a black day in the history of Pakistan. This was announced by APDM convener and Chief Pukhtoonkhwa Mili Awami Party, Mehmood Achakzai while addressing a press conference here. He demanded an independent judicial inquiry into the May 12 carnage last year. Achakzai said Pervez Musharraf had himself accepted in front of the international media that his actions were unconstitutional. He went on to say that all unconstitutional acts were treason committed against the state and those supporting such acts were also part and parcel of the crime. Acakzai said that his party would support any power that would restore the deposed judges.
